If you’ve been looking for a job, then there’s good news. Progressive Insurance is looking to hire over 390 positions at its Riverview customer service center by summer, the company said Tuesday.
The Ohio-based company said they’re already adding salespeople and customer service and claims representatives at its Crescent Park Drive campus in Riverview.
If you are interested, the company said you should have some customer service experience, but do not need experience at a call center or in the insurance industry.
The jobs will pay $12 to $15 an hour depending on the possition and your experience. They also provide medical insurance and other benefits. More information is available at www.progressive.com/jobs.

In fact, insurers are among the few major employers that continued to hire throughout Florida’s recession and its weak recovery. Health insurer Humana has added well over 1,000 employees in the Tampa Bay area since 2009.
