President Obama To Announce Immigration Action

He’s been promising — some say threatening — to do so for years, but on Thursday evening President Obama will announce his planned executive actions on immigration.

The most controversial aspect of Obama’s planned action is likely to be an order to, on a temporary basis, exempt from deportation and grant work permits to as many as five million undocumented immigrants.

After his announcement, the President travels to Del Sol High School in Las Vegas on Friday “to discuss why he is using his executive authority now. Yes, another attempted White House intruder of sorts, but this guy walked up to the Secret Service to identify himself before being arrested.
