Police: Woman pulled out of car, beaten

SARASOTA – Two Sarasota women were taken into custody after they pulled a woman out of her car and beat her Sunday night.

The victims, Alanna Ferris, 21, and Chloe Costello, 23, were travelling together, driving north on US 41 in Sarasota.

A road rage incident began involving 27-year-old Lisa M. Robinson and 19-year-old Raquel L. McCall, two other women who were traveling in another car on US 41 at the Myrtle Road intersection.

It was at this location that Robinson and McCall got out of their vehicle at the stop light and entered the victim’s vehicle. The suspects pulled out one of the women and beat her up in the roadway at the intersection.

The suspects were positively identified by the victims and St. Petersburg Police arrested them.
