SAVANNAH, Ga. — Police in Savannah have identified a man who died after being hit by a SUV as 28-year-old Abdulla Smith.
Smith was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe Wednesday night while he was crossing the street and was later pronounced dead at the Memorial University Medical Center.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan police spokesman Julian Miller says the accident is under investigation.
