Police Hunt for suspects After Man Set on Fire

MIAMI (AP) _ Miami-Dade police are continuing their search for suspects in the case of a man set on fire at a gas station on Christmas night.

The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/V1geEu ) reports 44-year-old Darrell Brackett remained in the hospital on Sunday, recovering from severe burns.

Police say the attack happened shortly before midnight on Christmas.

They say Brackett had taken some guests home when his van ran out of gas.

He walked to a nearby gas station and paid for gasoline.

Moments later, witnesses saw Brackett running in the street, his body on fire.

The Herald reports that police have spoken to one man and are still searching for another man.

Investigators would also like to talk to another man and a woman who may have information and who have been involved.

No charges have been filed.
