Police Dept. Offers Pamphlet TO Public On Dealing With Officers

High-profile police-involved killings in the past year — those in which officers or civilians have died — have prompted the Oklahoma City Police Department to highlight a new pamphlet that offers tips to the public on interactions with law enforcers.

Don’t make sudden moves or lunge for the glove compartment to get your insurance card. Do be respectful and honest with the police, the pamphlet advises. The document has been in the design stages for about two years, but has only now been printed for distribution.
