The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a shooting at 6265 2nd Avenue North.
Deputies got the call at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday.
Detectives report that it appears that two adult sisters were involved in a domestic dispute during which one sister shot the other in the torso.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say after the shooting the suspect walked to a nearby church where police were called and she turned herself in without incident. Police recovered the firearm used in the shooting.
