PCSO Searching For Wallet Theft Suspect

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect accused of stealing a female victim’s wallet while she shopped at a Clearwater grocery store.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Aldi grocery store located at 24756 US Highway 19 North in Clearwater on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at approximately 12:50 p.m. The suspect was observed walking near the victim, reaching in the victim’s purse and taking her wallet when she was not looking.

The suspect then used the victim’s credit cards at a Clearwater Target and Walmart store.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black female with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing solid color scrub pants and a printed scrub top.

The investigation continues.
