Perhaps nothing reflects more the world’s evolving sociology and culture than the words that are added each your to the Oxford Dictionary. And the reference guide has just announced the new words that made the cut for this year.
Among the list, some are quite familiar to all of us; live-tweet, binge-watch, smartwatch for instance. Some, we aren’t very familiar with but can kind figure them out; words like neckbeard and clickbait.
And then there are others, of which most of us have no idea. These would include listicle, mansplain, hippotherapy, and vape.
