Hillsborough County emergency crews are responding a reported collision between a truck and a train.
The accident scene is near the intersection of Paul Buchman Highway and Moriczville Lane north of Plant City. According to Hillsborough Fire Rescue, a logging truck was trying to cross the tracks there when it was hit by a train.
The semi driver was transported to the hospital via ambulance with non life-threatening injuries. The train operator was not injured.
According to police, there is no electronic crossing signals at this crossing, there is is a posted R.R. Crossing sign (as you can see by the picture).
S.R. 39 remains open while the investigation continues.
