A boating accident off the Sunshine Skyway has killed one person.
Rescue crews responded at 10:20 a.m. to an overturned boat on the southside of the bridge.
Initial reports say four friends were in the boat when it overturned. One man was caught in the boat motor and was killed.
Emergency crews from Manatee County were first on the scene and rescued the three other boaters and retrieved the body of the man killed.
