Obama Visits Benedict College To Talk Jobs, Opportunity

It will be the 48th state he will have visited as president, leaving just South Dakota and Utah as the two he has yet touchdown on since taking office.

President Obama will be at Benedict College in Columbia, talking about economic opportunity, or as the White House says, “how to expand opportunity in their own communities, and to work together to ensure that young people have the tools they need to compete in a global economy and that all Americans benefit from our economic resurgence.”

This will be a few hours after a new jobs report is released at 8:30am ET. And lest we forget, whether this President and this Congress can really accomplish anything together legislatively, remains somewhat of a question mark.

ABC’s Mary Bruce joined us from the White House Friday morning to discuss.
