Murder took a holiday last week.
There were no murders in the five boroughs in the seven days ending last Sunday, the mayor’s office said on Monday.
“It’s an anomaly. No doubt about it,” said a veteran police source.
“The Grim Reaper took a break this week.”
The last time the city experienced a murder-free week was in the midst of a cold spell last January.
