Well, a variety of developments on the Ray Rice matter on Tuesday. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell finally spoke on the matter. Nike dropped their endorsement deal with Rice, and Electronic Arts deleted him from Madden NFL.
Rice’s wife reacted, asking why folks are intent on ruining their lives when they are over the incident themselves. Exchanges and pizzas are being offered in exchange for Ray Rice jerseys. And folks are still a bit sketchy over the NFL’s claims that they actively pursued all evidence when conducting their investigation of the incident.
A top New Jersey lawmaker wants an investigation as to how Rice got off so relatively easily for slugging his current wife into unconsciousness.
