Suspect Robs New Port Richey 7-11

Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect who robbed a New Port Richey 7-11 convenience store early this morning. At 1:58 a.m., an unknown suspect entered into the 7-11 store at US Highway 19 and Moog Road while displaying a rifle and demanded the cashier empty the register. The suspect was wearing an olive green long sleeve t-shirt with a hunting related logo on the back, faded jeans, and a camouflage hat. The suspect concealed a black, short barrel, possibly .22-caliber, bolt action rifle in his right pant leg and displayed it to the 7-11 cashier. The suspect fled the 7-11 with an undisclosed amount of cash and went west towards Moog Road and Pinehurst Drive.
