State tourism officials say a record 79 million people visited Florida in the first nine months of 2015.
That’s up 5.5 percent from the same period last year, which set a new record then.
67 million of the tourists who came to Florida in the first three quarters of 2015 were from the U.S.
Eight million were from overseas.
And three million were from Canada.
Higher tourism numbers are good for Florida workers since almost all of the jobs being created in the Sunshine State are low paying service positions.
