Tarpon Springs Police continue to question an 85 year old man in connection with an early morning explosion in the backyard of a neighbor’s home on Stonefence Way.
Police arrested 85 year old William Metz for being a felon in possession of a firearm, but they are now interested in knowing if he built some kind of a device and set it off.
Two adults and a two year old in the house were uninjured but their house was damaged.
The blast could be heard and felt several blocks away.
