The Nielsen Ratings Company is out with new allegations that Tampa radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge Clem tried to get people taking part in their listener surveys to listen to his show.
Nielsen is suing Clem for one episode already, where the jock admitted tried to convince a Nielsen panelist to listen to his show.
The show was also suspended for more than a week and Clem and his staff had to undergo compliance training.
The latest offense has the Tampa station that carries Bubba’s show, WBRN-FM 98.7, being de-listed on its ratings for two months.
That could hurt sales efforts.
