A new Monmouth University poll has Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio now with a fighting chance of winning his home state in the March 15th Republican presidential primary.
The poll done March 3-6 has Donald Trump with 38 percent of likely G.O.P. primary voters, and Rubio with 30 percent.
That’s far better than last week’s Quinnipiac Poll that had Trump up 16 points over Rubio.
The Monmouth poll has Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz at 17 percent in the Florida Republican primary and Ohio Governor John Kasich at 10 percent.
The Florida primary election is March 15th.
