The mother of the North Port newborn who was allegedly beaten to death by his father has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
In exchange for what many saw as a light sentence, Kristen Bury (seen above) must testify against 9 week old Chance Walsh’s father, Joseph Walsh.
Prosecutors say the elder Walsh (seen below) savagely beat his just-born son to death in their home, and then buried his broken body in a wooded area not far away.
Joseph Walsh goes on trial later.
