Florida is still ground zero in the foreclosure crisis.
Data provider Core Logic says lenders took back more than 91 thousand Sunshine State properties during the 12 month period that ended in September.
But that’s down 25 percent from the year before that.
Still, one out of every five homes foreclosed on during this past year was in Florida.
And the percentage of Florida properties in some stage of being taken back is still twice the national average.
