While Occupy Tampa continues it’s demonstration outside, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be inside the Tampa Museum of Art at 5:30 p.m. today at a $2,500-per-person reception for his last Florida fundraiser of the year.
Can’t afford that “suggested donation”? He’ll also make a public appearance at 4 p.m. at the Port of Tampa, 1101 Channelside Drive, on trade policy, his campaign says.
Occupy Tampa was urging people to join its protest in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
A Facebook post implores: “Let’s show Mitt the difference between people and corporations. Come and help us inform the public that the 1% buys our politicians in our back yard. Bring a good sign and good vibes.”
