(UPDATE 4:45 p.m.) The man who crashed his minivan into Coffee Pot Bayou, 59 year old Mark Ellis, has been charged with DUI.

A 59 year old man is being treated for face injuries after driving his minivan over a seawall near the Snell Isle bridge in St. Petersburg.
The minivan was left partially submerged at Snell Isle Boulevard and Coffee Pot Boulevard.
