Miami: Police arrest man in deadly nail salon shooting


A 19-year-old Miami man was arrested late Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Miramar boy who was slain during a robbery of his parents’ nail salon.

Anthawn Ragan Jr. was taken into custody at a family member’s residence earlier Tuesday, his birthday, said Miami-Dade police.

He is allegedly one of two armed men who shot and killed 10-year-old Aaron Vu and wounded his father, Hai Nam Vu, 42, during the armed robbery of the family’s Hong Kong Nails in northwest Miami-Dade on Friday evening.
