MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities were investigating after a student fell from the third floor at Miami Beach Senior High.
Miami-Dade Public Schools police say the 17-year-old girl fell during lunchtime Wednesday. She was taken to a Miami trauma center, but her condition wasn’t immediately known.
The Miami Herald (http://goo.gl/DwyofQ ) reports that police weren’t saying what caused the fall.
Police say the school was placed on lock down and students were released in a controlled dismissal.
