A manhunt is underway between U.S. 301 and State Road 39 south of Zephyrhills.
Police are looking for 30 year old Kenneth Brown, who carjacked a motorist at gunpoint on Deer Creek Drive this afternoon.
Brown then abandoned the stolen car and fired a shot at a pursuing police officer before taking off on foot. Since he took off, officers believe that he took all his clothes off.
The officer is OK.
