Largo Police say the incident happened at 6:13 a.m. in the 7900 block of Ulmerton Road.
The pedestrian, Joseph Addair, 60, was crossing Ulmerton Road in the crosswalk. He was hit by a 2012 Ford F150 and was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The driver, Keith Brunner, 45, was not injured in the crash. The investigation is ongoing and no charges are expected.
