Man Steals $1,350 Camera From Best Buy

On May 24, 2014 at 7:12 p.m., a man entered the Best Buy located at 12675 Citrus Plaza Drive. He approached the counter containing numerous digital cameras secured via cable lock devices.

The man, 25-30 years of age, 5’8″ and 165 lbs. is seen on surveillance video cutting the cable lock to a Canon EOS 70 SLR digital camera, valued at approximately $1,349.99. The suspect leaves the camera in place and walks away from the counter while a store employee silences the alarm that went off when the cable was cut.

A short time later, another man, 22-29 years of age, 5’10” and 160 lbs., enters the store and approaches the same camera counter. That suspect conceals the unsecured camera and is seen exiting the store with it.

The two suspects fled the store undetected.
