St. Petersburg Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a woman at gun point at an ATM Tuesday night.

It started at  the ATM at the Bank of America at 565 First Avenue South at about 9:17 p.m.

The victim, a 33 year old female, pulled into the drive up ATM in her car and was in the process of withdrawing some cash when a man approached her driver’s window from behind, lifted his shirt and took out a handgun from his waistband.

He then demanded the money the victim had with just withdrawn from the ATM and she immediately allowed him to take it.

The suspect then walked away casually eastbound out of the victim’s sight.

The suspect is a white male, who appears to be in his mid twenties, with short cropped hair and unshaven appearance.

At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a white shirt under a blue jacket, zippered in the front with possibly a hood attached on the back.

From the photos the jacket appears to have a crest or logo stitched over the left breast.
