Man Lands Gyrocopter on Capitol Hill Lawn

President Barack Obama is drawing contrasts between his tax policies and those of the Republican leaders in Congress. Obama says he has proposed cutting taxes for working families while Republicans want to cut them for the wealthiest families. Obama used Wednesday’s federal income tax filing deadline to draw attention to his proposals to help families pay for child care, college tuition and retirement. Congress hasn’t embraced any of the president’s ideas, has given no indication that they ever plan to, and with the gyrocopter incident, Wednesday’s sounding board was quite muted.
