Man Killed in Road Rage Shooting in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) _An incredible case of road rage happened over the weekend in Melbourne.

55 year old William Sherwood is accused of fatally shooting a car sales manager during a customer test drive.

It happened Saturday morning at a Kia dealership.

The sales manager John Pratt, was on a test drive near Babcock Street and Brevard Drive and somehow Sherwood rear ended Pratt.

Sales manager Pratt got out of the car he was test driving and confronted Sherwood and that’s when he opened fire.

Pratt was rushed to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Sherwood was given a $300,000 bond at his first court appearance in Brevard County yesterday.
