43 year old Reginald White of Bradenton fell from the Skyway Bridge last night. It happened about 9:20 last night when the right rear tire blew on his SUV. He was changing the tire when he lost his balance and fell backward over the side barrier. The distance he fell was only about 30 feet on the Manatee side of the Skyway before it rises to 191 feet over Tampa Bay. St. Pete Fire Rescue was able to locate White and transport him to Bayfront Hospital. His two passengers were not injured.
