An Air Force pilot stationed at Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa is accused of trying to have sex with a 13 year old girl.
Authorities say Captain Christopher Everding responded to an online ad from what he thought was the girl’s father and set up a time and place to meet the child.
He drove to Brevard County where he showed up with condoms expecting to meet the teen girl.
Instead, he was arrested by federal agents.
Everding will remain in jail without bond for now.
