A building at 11351 Ulmerton Road has been evacuated after someone sprayed an unknown irritant into an office.
The state building houses several offices and agencies including DCF.
According to the Largo Fire Department, the unknown chemical was sprayed in the DCF area of the building on the first floor.
The incident happened shortly before 4 p.m.
Several people complained of respiratory issues. Two people were transported to the hospital. Several more were treated at the scene.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
