Lacoochee: Girl Threatened By Man With Knife

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case where a 10-year-old girl was approached by a man with a knife and threatened while she was walking home from Lacoochee Elementary School.

Deputies have increased patrols in the area and are searching for the suspect. They say he is a major threat to the community.

Police say around 4:45 p.m. the girl was walking down Cummer Road when she was approached by a masked man with a knife. According to investigators, he asked the girl, “Should I kill myself or should I hurt you?”

Police are searching for a man with possibly dark complexion, and was wearing a camouflage jacket, dark-colored mask, dark Army pants. He was carrying a long silver knife with a dark handle.
