JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Investigators say they believe a woman found dead after a fire above a Jacksonville bar was the victim of a homicide.

On Dec. 1, firefighters found the body of 43-year-old Kathy Lorraine Johnson in a room she was renting above Greybeard’s Tavern.

Jacksonville’s Assistant Police Chief Chris Butler told the Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/1e80hq ) Monday that investigators didn’t original suspect foul play. But the medical examiner ruled Johnson’s death a homicide.

Officials didn’t say how she died.

Johnson had lived in the boarding room for about two months.
