$1 Million Finalists Doritos Crash The Superbowl

Aside from the game, commercials are the most anticipated part of the Super Bowl broadcast. Over the past nine years, fans of the Doritos brand have been captivating audiences with their homemade ads.

This year is the 10th and final installment of the Crash the Super Bowl contest.

The three finalists will be competing to not only see their commercial aired during the Super Bowl 50 broadcast, but the chance to win a grand prize with Super Heroic ambitions: $1 million and an opportunity to collaborate with director Zack Snyder while working with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment. Snyder is the director of the much-anticipated “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” set for release March 25, 2016.

And for the first time — just for making it to the final round, the two runner-up finalists each will walk away with a whopping $100,000 cash prize, plus a guaranteed creative gig with the Doritos brand.

Ryan Matiyow, the Senior Director of Marketing for Frito-Lay North America, joined Your Wake Up Call to discuss this year’s spots and what lies ahead for the lucky filmmaker whose life changes on Sunday.
