Discrepancies in federal health care sign-up data for over 2 million people could put their health coverage in jeopardy. A seven-page federal document surfaced Wednesday showing that 2.1 million policies — 1 in 4 sign-ups — have data discrepancies in their applications, creating a huge paperwork jam for the feds and exposing some consumers to repayment demands, or possibly even loss coverage, if they got too generous a subsidy. Responding to the document, administration officials expressed confidence that most of the discrepancies can be resolved over the summer.
