Fort Hood shooter Ivan Lopez’s rampage followed an argument over the denial of his request for leave and did not appear to be due to some ongoing mental problem, Army officials said on Monday. The word came as details of the investigation into the shooting thus far, which included interviews with over 1,000 people, were released. Also confirmed, Lopez shot himself and was not killed by any bullets being fired at him in response.
