AM 820 News anchor Robert Pankau spoke to Grayson Kamm of WTSP 10 News about “Give Day Tampa Bay” happening in downtown Tampa today. Grayson tells us how you can give to your favorite charities in a 24 hour blitz campaign.
Starting at 5 am, volunteers will be there doing social media to raise donations. It’s a new way to convince people to donate. The Give Day Tampa Bay founders want to make Tampa’s charity drive over the top using technology and social media. They want to convince Tampa to give more. Apparently Tampa is among the bottom when it comes to giving as a community.
