Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units are on scene in Riverview working a two-alarm blaze at a Riverview Pub this morning at Big Bend Rd & Summerfield Blvd.
Crews were called out to The Mulligans Pub in Summerfield Plaza at 11375 Big Bend Road.
Firefighters arrived and found smoke emanating from the business. Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes. They discovered the fire was coming from the kitchen.
A spokesperson with HCFR said the fire spread to the pub’s attic but were able to put it out before it spread to other businesses.
Two to three businesses at Summerfield Plaza were evacuated and remained under evacuation as of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
No injuries were reported.
