Husband Shoots Wife in Front Yard

A St. Petersburg woman was shot and killed by her husband at 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

Vicki Bolling, 64, was shot multiple times by her husband William Bolling, 72, during an argument inside their home on 74th circle NE.

According to the St. Petersburg Police , during an argument, Bolling pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds at his wife.

Vicki Bolling ran from Bolling out on to the back porch where he shot at her from inside the house through an open window, hitting her multiple times in the lower body.

Police said she ran to the side of the house, where she collapsed, and was then transported to Bayfront Medical Center.

William Bolling was taken into custody and Vicki Bolling has since passed away as a result of her wounds.

Bolling’s charges have now been amended to 1st degree murder.

The couple was married for 32 years
