A breakdown in communication at a Texas hospital may have delayed treatment for a man now suffering from a life-threatening case of Ebola. The man, Thomas Eric Duncan, had been in Texas for a few days when he started feeling sick.

And when he arrived at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital he volunteered information to a nurse that he had traveled from Liberia. However, he was sent home. Officials on Wednesday also announced that five school-aged children in Texas may have been exposed to the virus by Duncan.
