A single wide mobile home at 12905 Hwy 672 in Hillsborough County caught fire for unknown reasons. The home was unoccupied at the time as the owners were staying at a relatives house next door, police said.
The trailer home was completely destroyed by fire. Fire crews used water shuttle operations to extinguish the fire in this area where there are no fire hydrants. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes of
first unit arriving on scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
The Red Cross has been contacted to help the family.
No injuries have been reported.
