BRANDON, Fla. – A student from Brandon High School was taken to Tampa General Hospital on Wednesday morning after he was hit while crossing Parsons Avenue near Summerfield Way.
Deputies say Andrew C. Owens, 15, was not using a crosswalk and was in the inside lane when he was struck by a 2000 Honda Accord driven by Benjamin A. Bell, 17.
