A weekend of heritage golf events will take place Feb. 22-24 at the nationally recognized Temple Terrace Golf Course, including the U.S. Professional Hickory Golf Championship on Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
The professional event draws golf professionals from around the country. They’ll use wood-shafted clubs and reconstructed period balls from the 1920s.The tournament harkens back to the original golf championship in Florida.
The hickory golf amateur event is Saturday.
