The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who robbed a Dollar General store in Brooksville.
According to the HCSO, the suspect entered the Dollar General at 12983 Cortez Boulevard at 6:42 p.m. and took an item, went to the counter, placed the item on the counter and threatened the clerk with a knife.
He stole some money and fled from the store in a northwest direction.
Police describe him as a white male in his mid 20’s with a light colored hoodie, long blue jeans and black flip flops.
A K-9 team was called to the scene but was unable to locate the suspect.
