Hernando County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting on Freeport Avenue in Spring Hill just after midnight on Tuesday morning.
According to deputies, Mitchell Ingle, 28, did die from his injuries. Deputies say the shooting is not a threat to the public and they are working on contacting the victim’s relatives.
All parties involved, including the shooter, are being interviewed.
