Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are on scene of what appears to be a drive by shooting that occurred at 807 Joe McIntosh Road in Plant City.
According to deputies, multiple gun shots where fired at the Plant City home at roughly 3:29 a.m. Thursday. A family of four live at the residence (brother, father and mother as well).
McKenzie Creech, 12, was asleep in the front bedroom and suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds to both calves. She was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital. No one else in the house was injured.
