Fifteen-year-old Patricia Montes and 16-year-old Erica Avery are both charged as adults with felony armed sexual assault and kidnapping. The Miami Herald reports (http://hrld.us/1h6gBfz) a judge set bail Thursday at $100,000 for each girl. It wasn’t clear when they might be released. They have not entered pleas.

Prosecutors say the pair and three others invited the 16-year-old victim to a house, where they allegedly pinned her down and began punching and kicking her. Authorities say the group refused to stop until the girl agreed to have sex with a 19-year-old man.

Authorities say the victim refused but was eventually raped anyway.
